About a year ago I left commercial lending to try commercial insurance. It is a great career opportunity but my dream is own multiple multifamily properties. I don’t have any experience managing apartments, but a job as property manager recently opened up in my hometown. Should I take the job to learn the business? I’m thinking it will help me in the long run. What are your thoughts as experienced investors?

@Josh Proctor certainly PM is more a propos to Investing than is Insurance, although insurance is important too. If you want to invest, then figure out how to get that done; you can always hire a PM. You might be jumping around too much. In order to invest you need money, yours or someone else's. So raising money trumps all.
