House Hack- buying both units of a duplex

I am moving to the Alexandria/Arlington/DC area next Spring (2021). My wife and I are interested in buying both units of a duplex, live in one, rent the other out.

When I look at on common real estate limiting such as Zillow, Realtor, etc... I never see the entire duplex for sale- only one unit.

Is there a way to identify these properties with out a real estate agent and the MLS?
