New multi family property investor

Hello everyone. I have a sfh rental property that I am selling. I want to take the substantial profits and move it into MF. I am looking for tips and/or advice on connecting with other like minded individuals to pool or capital and acquire one or more MF properties. Thank you in advance for your suggestions and feedback.

If I were you, I'd consider investing in an apartment syndication deal as a passive investor. This would give you the benefits of commercial real estate (like preservation of capital, depreciation, etc) while also having the opportunity to get your foot in the door with a successful syndicator. Then, you can pick their brain and ask questions so you can learn how the syndication process works. Eventually, you'll be able to do deals on your own if you ask questions and build a good relationship with the syndicator. Make sure to lead with value!
