When working on your first syndication, how does one find investors/sponsors to help you finance your first deal? Currently, I am about to close on a quadplex in Birmingham, AL. Now I want to move onto commercial real estate and apartment investing. Any info and advice is much appreciated. Thank you.

Hey Brett!

Here are some of the best ways ot find investors that have worked for us-

Going to Meetups/REIAs

Creating a thought leadership platform and attracting investors there. Examples include social media like Youtube, Linkedin, even BP, creating a podcast, etc.

To answer your sponsors question- you could either join a paid coaching group in which the coach is willing to sponsor your deals or find them at different networking events. You could also reach out to specific individuals you are interested in working with and let them know you have a deal you are looking to partner up on. Just be careful choosing!

Hope that helps!
