Cost to build 3-flat

Matt Holmes
Posted

We recently bought a property with an extra lot.  We're looking to build a 3 flat.

What is the cost to build a 3 flat and 2-car garage?  I'm sure if varies, but I just want a range to help decide what to do.

Land is in Pilsen.

You are correct the price can definitely range quite a bit depending on the size, finishes, rough materials, location, etc.

A super ball number to get you going would be at least $190/SF-$220/sf ish... to figure out square footage it's probably best to connect with a Chicago architect like @Samuel Pavlovcik or @Prashanth Mahakali both can talk through the zoning and plan development process.
