What are the trends in buying land and how can I profit from buying land...setting up mobile homes and renting the space or building on it? this is residential property.

For land, at least in my market, I feel like the tax sales are a great place to start but you would have to be comfortable with the laws / regulations in your market. The risk should be fairly minimal if you start small. In my market, land at the tax sales is starting at like 3k - but I have never been so I cant really say what they are actually getting sold for.
