Building on extra lots

Zack Whiting
Posted

I currently have a total of 6 extra lots on houses that i have bought in a class b-c neighborhood. I am worried that when i go to build on them that the cost will be over what they will be worth when they are complete. All the homes in the area were built before 1970 so there is nothing that i can really compare them to. I am looking for advice from someone who has been in a similar situation. I want to put the lots to use.

I wouldn't risk a build in this market today.  What market are you in, first question?  If you want to build and sell, ghost it and eliminate the risk of carrying the costs.  If you want advice, ping me.  Free advice from an old dude
