On the houses we are building in both San Clemente, and in Capistrano Beach, in looking at cooktops I'm torn between Induction cooktop and Gas. What would YOU choose? Also, for those of you that are men, PLEASE ask your wives too :)

Induction and Gas Cooktop (Though these are Thermador, may go with Bosch)

Also, what do you think of:  Microwave in drawer (once again, if you can get the cooks opnion :)

@J Scott  I don't want to put you over budget, so I understand if you prefer not to ask your wife!

@Will Barnard you do high end stuff, what do you think?

From the wife:

- Gas over induction all day, every day.  Induction is super cool (and certainly not a detractor), but serious cooks love gas.

- She wasn't familiar with the "microwave in a drawer," but suggested that if you're looking to appeal to "gourmet kitchen" crowd, consider putting in a warming drawer and/or a beverage center (search for "built in beverage cooler").

From me:

-  I agree with my wife.  Regardless of what she said.  It's better that way.   :-)
