How to Advertise Investment Opp?

Question

Hi All,

I'm looking for advice on channels for advertising a deal to potential investors.

Do you ladies and gentleman have suggestions on platforms (online and offline) for connecting with individuals and groups to find a good fit for a joint venture on the following project overview?

The general is as follows:

-have a builder that owns a property with a partner on a British Overseas Territory

-vacation destination with soon-to-increase traffic via increase in major cruise line stops

-they have additional property to offer (at least a portion of) as collateral

-plan to build 13 condominium units to sell (already permitted); builder claims to be able to construct in 5 months

-looking for an individual or organization interesting in financing the project as a Joint Venture

Need an appropriate staging ground (perhaps within this site?) for offering up a deal like this that has the right eyes frequenting it.

BiggerPockets has a Marketplace forum, where any deals may be posted. You must have a Plus or Pro membership in order to post in the Marketplace, but anyone can view deals there.

One of my favorite international real estate sites is EscapeArtist.com. You could also go to a local REIA/other RE networking event. You could set up a one-page website with the deal details, outlines and site renderings, have a section to collect leads as well.

Have you looked into any investment groups in your area? Most cities have several meetup groups that center around real estate or investing - perhaps attending a few of those will put you in contact with the right partners - check your local Association of Realtors - many times they have a special day for investors and real estate agents - we have ours every Friday morning - your local office may have something similar. Hope this helps.
