Hi, Anyone develop 1-2 Million retail strip center? There is not much discuss about Retail development in Bigger Pocket.

In most markets, $1M is the magic number for "luxury". However, I was born and raised in South Florida, and I learned quickly $1M for a home on Palm Beach will only get you a 2 bedroom apartment, with at most 1,500 sq ft. My goal is to develop multi-million-dollar projects in LA.

still confused 1 mil spec home is nothing special in most parts of LA each market is quite different.. Not a market I play in often although as prices have sky rocketed we have been pushing 600 to 800k and I am going to do a 1.7 in Charleston this year. and a few 1 millions in Portland as well. but bread and butter is track homes at 375 to 450k in both PDX and Charleston

I'm finishing up 3 homes on a bigger corner lot we subdivided. The new home values are $530k, 515k, and 325k. One is pre sold and the others should be ready to list in about a month.

I've done both Tim. $1.4 residential development and custom homes.
