Rehab before insurance inspection

Hi All,

I just purchased a triplex and would like to do some minor renovation in one of the units (move a wall and upgrade an existing kitchen). The inspector for the home insurance company hasn't been out to the property yet. Would they be concerned of renovations being done right after purchase? Is it worth waiting to tear into walls, etc. until after the inspection has occurred?

Thanks in advance!
