3-Flat repipe, galvanized to copper. Increased value?

Looking for insight on whether or not repiping our Chicago three flat from galvanized to copper (PEX isn’t allowed) will add any significant resale value.

Repiping is on our less urgent list of necessary maintenance items - but it’s looking more and more like it’ll have to happen within the next five years, so we’re beginning to gather information on how new copper plumbing can impact resale value - if at all.

Appreciate any input - thanks!

Historically, the plumber's union in Chicago has had a ton of clout with the local political powers. That clout kept PVC drains from being allowed until sometime in the 90's. Cast iron and copper are still mandatory for plumbing drain/waste/vent on buildings taller than 40'  Getting back to old galvie supply piping....the water pressure is usually rendered adequate when just the horizontal piping in the basement is replaced. Horizontal piping is far more likely to accrete rust and minerals than are the vertical risers. If the water supply piping in the basement is accessible then that's the place to start.
