My architect is submitting our plans for my ADU I'm adding to my house next week. Anyone have an idea of how long it takes the city of Los Angeles for the plans to get approved and you can start construction. I'm adding an attached 2 story 2 bed/1.5 bath unit to my house approximately 750 sq ft.

@Robert Reynolds Expect 6 months. I submitted an existing garage conversion ADU and I have my final review Sept 24th but submitted my plans Feb 28th. All in, its 7 months for approval if we get it signed off thursday. LABDS is very very backed up due to covid. So two months is very unrealistic in this landscape. Plan accordingly.
