Uneven Flooring and Placing Vinyl

Hello all,

Looking for a contractor to give me some advice on laying vinyl flooring. The floor is uneven when stepping into the room from the tile in the kitchen. Originally it had carpet and there will be a gap of about half an inch from where the vinyl will be placed to where the baseboard is.

If there is someone out there that would take a look at this Id be very grateful. I might just hire this out if not.
