Why would partner want to partner with me?

Question

How do you find a partner and what can I bring to the table so that they would want to work with me? I am still learning and still new to investing. My focus is on STRs and I do not have a lot of capital but its building

If you are asking, you don't have it yet and that's ok. What's your background? Everyone has capital and if capital is all you have to offer, you are likely going to get taken for a ride. If you want a partner, you start by building relationships with other investors who are interested in the same thing and see where it goes over time, a lot of time. Too many newer investors are looking for partners too aggressively. It's like saying you want a new date on Tinder, but not even wanting to put up photos of a description, just want a partner. Be in the circles, add value, and work on getting to know people. You will find where you can help.

@Sean Starkey you have time, your future partner has capital. Bring a legitimate off-market deal to the table and you should have no trouble finding partners to finance the property. If I were you, I would continue to practice analyzing deals consistently. In addition, start attending your local REIA to make connections and find someone that has been looking for a STR.
