Newbie Investor in Florida
Hey everyone, I just created my account on here and want to say hello. I've begun reading a lot of books regarding rental properties, and most recently, buying properties for renting out in a different state. I live in Florida near Sarasota Fl. It's just too expensive down here and I was curious where others would recommend looking and where they've had success. Not to mention, any wisdom they might want to share. I appreciate any help and I look forward to being part of the BiggerPockets community

It all depends on what you're interested in, and what you're trying to accomplish. One person will say they are finding success in syndicating apartment complexes in Columbus Ohio. Another may say they are doing great Flipping lots in Arizona. Yet another will say they are doing well with vacation rentals in your home base of St. Petersburg, FL
