Short term investment ideas for $100K

Hello Experts,

  I have saved up some $100K+ which i planned to put as down payment for a single family home purchase planned within 6-12 months from now. This amount is sitting in savings account . Looking at my short term needs i do not want to invest in stock market. Any investment suggestions with that amount for low risk and medium returns other than CDs,Treasury bonds etc? Thanks in advance for this community's contribution!

 Look into strong secondary markets, Columbus, Dallas, Nashville and start doing DD to figure out which will return the best.
