@Frank Dunn I haven't used one in Providence in a while but earlier this year another investor recommended Peter Casale to me as a "code consultant" for Providence, with the caveat that he can be very busy.

Generally you want to go with someone who has experience presenting things in that particular town, so you're on the right track asking for Providence specifically.

If Peter is too busy to help you, and no one else recommends someone, one backup option you could pursue would be to review recent minutes from the Providence Zoning Board of Review and see which attorney names appear with some regularity (and for different clients, since one matter often spans multiple meetings).

As a backup backup option, I can put you in touch with the attorney who wrote the excellent "Rhode Island Zoning for Non-Lawyers" handbook. She specializes in North Kingstown / South County but she may have connections to or be able to recommend Providence zoning attorneys.
