Not Caught in Inspection
I recently purchased a property after getting it inspected there were some issues and we knew it needed some love.
Some of the big issues were not caught on inspection. (Gas leak and plumbing)
What are some things you have ran into when dealing with this? Reached out to inspection company? Maybe a lawyer?

While it never hurts to reach out to the inspection company and see what they say, this is not an uncommon problem. Unfortunately in 99% of cases, the inspector has zero liability and most of them have you acknowledge that or sign a waiver. Due dilligence is always on the buyer to perform- the inspection is just one of your tools, but you are responsible for the outcomes.
Hopefully they will offer you some sort of solution- best of luck!
