Rental property Question

Hey BiggerPockets family,

So my rental property will be vacant next month and I’m thinking about staying there a couple nights out the week in order to do remodeling work. I figured I’ll do the work myself in order to save some cash. 

However, I just brought my primary less than a year ago. My question is will this be an IRS red flag?
