Experience in Transactional Lending?

Question

Curious if anyone has any experience in Transactional lending, or Gator lending as coined by Pace Morby. Have some cash sitting around that I need to get working for me. Would love to connect with anyone who has experience with this, or anyone that needs cash quickly to close a deal (Earnest money, inspection, closing costs, etc.). Thanks!

Good morning @Shane Lyons, I hope all is well.  I think you already knew this, I offer Transactional Lending, but I don't do "gator" EMD lending.  I lend the full amount so I won't be of much help to guide you on the other process.  I imagine though if you do offer EMD lending, you better make sure you have full control of your money and stay on top of the closing team and most importantly stay on top of the wholesalers because I'd hate for you to lose your EMD by not having it protected with the right paperwork or by not babysitting the wholesaler.

You bet. Not sure what "Gator Lending" is (did some guru make that up to sell courses?), but we've done transactional funding for the past 15 years. I've been a lender for 32 years and I own a licensed mortgage company in FL that, among other things, does Transactional Funding.
