Series LLC Question

I am making offers on properties inside an Alabama Series LLC - I was told the properties need to be purchased in the name of the parent LLC with a parenthetical notation stating, "This property is to be held independently by 123 Main Street, a series of ABC Parent Series LLC". Does this sound right?
