Zillow question

Cheers!

I'm a newbie researching a property—a 3 bdrm condo in a complex. I checked Zillow.com to get a comparison. Zillow says 2 bdrm properties in the same complex sold last year for about $40K less than the one I’m researching. But, when I look at Zillow’s ‘Zestimate’ for the value of the 2 bdrm condos, it’s in the ball park of what I would expect given the asking price of the 3 bdrm.

Question: How do I interpret the info on Zillow and is it reliable?

[No need to caution me on buying a condo; I’m aware of the issues and know the questions to ask.]
