Mentorship groups/investment clubs for beginners

Erik Sanders
Posted

I have been researching and browsing through bigger pockets and different real estate investment info but haven’t pulled the trigger on anything. I’ll admit the fear of failure and unknown holds me back regardless of goes many articles or reports I read or deals I look at.

during this search hundreds and hundreds of ads come through for training/mentorship style groups. That style of learning and introduction to true industry catches my attention as having someone in the space that understands the space to bounce things off of and learn from seems to be the ideal way.

I have through a handful of the webinars and follow up calls with different companies and they all basically pitch similar ideas and strategies. Step 1 bunch of info to read and review to “teach” basics. Step 2 some training with a real person. Step 3 help find and find deals.

Most that I sat through are in the 5k range. I don’t have a problem paying a couple grand to remove some of the just figure it out stage of learning and utilizing expertise of people that already do it.

However I’m not ignorant to the fact that there is a lot out there just collecting money and not providing much.

Anyone have recommendations on ones that are actually worth it and have helped you or others you know.

Few of the ones I’ve looked at or did the phone calls with were new wealth advisers club, rei accelerator, pace morby etc
