It is official like a referee whistle. I am a licensed realtor. I am a buy and hold investor primarily in SFRs. After deciding to take REI seriously last year, I created a plan of action. It started with education and a goal of purchasing two rental properties a year over the next 5 years (based on specific criteria). I met my goal last year, but during the process there were a number of dependencies (on my broker) I did not like. I made a decision to become licensed. I am confident it will pay for itself and be a benefit in the long term based on my business model.
