Add another floor in my building

I own 2 properties side by side (corner lot) in Brooklyn NY M1-1 zoning and i wanted to add floors to my building, can anyone advise how i should go about it?

Hey Mayer, you would want to start with an architect, they act as the quarterback in this process.  They will advise the engineer, contractor, expediter, etc. through the process, best of luck!
