Advice needed on a Multi-family in NYC

BP Community,

I am working on getting an apartment building in NYC under contract and work like your advice/guidance. New York city has always been a place I've wanted to invest (who hasn't wanted property in the city?), but I know there are many laws and regulations regarding eviction, renovations, rent controls, etc.

I would appreciate a "seasoned veterans" take on these laws and how much of a headache or deal-breaker they can be. I know that answers to my questions will probably be lengthy, so if you would rather hop on a phone call, feel free to DM me and we can set up a time to discuss.

Any and all information is appreciated. Trying to learn as much as I can to ensure my analysis is solid. Thanks!

@Kyle Vogeler I own a few properties in NYC and have owned them for many years.  I'll DM you so we can jump on a call.  Much to discuss :)
