What can I offer when networking besides my licenses

I want to network now that I'm a new realtor in IL with investors , but outside of my licenses what other value can I bring to these meetings

There are several things to consider.  What makes you the best choice for investors?  What life experiences and education can you bring to real estate?  You will want to know very well the neighborhoods you will work in.  How are your marketing skills?  Essentially how would you add value to those coming to you?

Networking is absolutely vital, and especially when you are new or entering a new field/area, casting a wide net is important.  Meeting new people through zoom and calls will help, but in my experience the real connections and made and trust built when working in person.  Anything that can add value should be included when starting out - what investors have you worked with, what past experience or connections can you leverage, what particular talents, passions, or abilities set you apart.  Anything to catch the ear or eye and get you in the door.Note: This information is for educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, tax, financial, or investment advice.
