Warning for airbnb hosts who allow pets

I had an issues with a guest who was allowed to have a pet. Their pet peed all over the carpet, left hair everywhere and we had to pay extra to our cleaner. Airbnb declines all pet related damage as the pet was "authorized". Just a heads up. You will not be able to collect for pet related "cleaning" and they even consider pee stains to be "cleaning".

On another note we have found airbnb rents to not have kept up with the rapid growth of local LTR rates. Decided to remove the airbnb once summer comes and do LTR. Years ago the net spread doing airbnb over LTR was worth it but now the spread is close to nothing.
