Any NYC investment success stories?
Anyone find success investing in NYC? Curious if you can share your story. Did you use creative financing (e.g. seller financing, rent-to-own, HELOC, take over sellers mortgage (subj-to-deals), joint ventures (with a partner) methods? If it was part of the BRRRR (buy, rehab, rent, refinance, repeat) strategy how & which part of the city did you do it in? Personally, I took over for a landlord who no longer wanted to work in a rapid growing area in Brooklyn (Greenpoint) and building value grew 300% after they left (over the following 9 years). This seems to be rare, but I don't believe it is, so asking for others to share wins big or small all are welcome and interesting to me!
