Ga Tax deed sale

Hello BP,

Im looking for some advice from anyone who has experience buying tax deeds in Ga.

I purchased an empty lot that once had a commercial building on it. The sale took place in August. Now that taxes have come due, the city is placing a lien on the property for demolition that occurred before the sale. I am under the impression that the lien should have been disclosed at auction by adding it to the delinquent tax amount. Now they are asking for $33k for the demolition in addition to the $1400 in taxes due. I remember hearing someone tell me before to always place properties in LLc to avoid demo fees or fines if that were to occur but i typically do some type of development with the properties i purchase or I sell them. But it looks like here I'm in a pickle. What do you think about this from your experience? Is there a way for me to get out of paying the Demo lien from the city?
