Feedback on whether we should try to roll out some internal software products

Need some honest advice please

We run a small real estate business - we have been investing in multi-family and small industrial for 20+ years, both as an LP and as a sponsor providing preferred equity to developers.

We were spending a ton of time 1) processing and organizing monthly and quarterly reports from our developers and partnerships — tracking performance, spotting issues, comparing progress across deals, and 2) writing reports for our own investors. So as a side project we built some internal AI tools to make this more efficient. They've worked really well, and we are trying to roll them out for external use. But I'm still not sure there's a real market for these... they may just be too niche/customized?

Here's what we've built:

- For LPs / Passive Investors: Upload your quarterly reports and get a structured analysis — performance trends, red flags, key metrics extracted automatically. It compares progress quarter over quarter, ranks GP initiatives, and flags what actually needs your attention.

- For Syndicators / Fund Managers: A tool that helps you draft professional investor reports. Feed it your data and updates, and it produces a polished report ready to send.

- For Developers / GCs: Record a quick video narrating your project update, and the tool generates a written progress report for your investors or lenders. We built this because getting timely written updates from developers is... a challenge.

I'm genuinely trying to figure out if these solve problems other people actually have:

If you're an LP in multiple deals, how do you currently track and compare performance across them?

If you're a sponsor/GC/developer, how much time do you spend on investor reporting?

Would you actually trust an AI tool for any of this?

Appreciate any honest feedback — are these features useful? Or "nobody would pay for this." That's useful too... Trying to figure out if this is worth much more investment on our part.

Thanks!
