Growing a Custom Home Building Company

Kaleb Cabe
Posted

Hello everyone,

My name is Kaleb and I operate Andrew Signature Homes, a custom home and barndominium building company working across Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Our business focuses on build-on-your-land homes where clients already own land and we handle the full design-build process. This includes architectural plans, engineering coordination, material sourcing, and construction management.

One of the reasons I started the company is because there is significant demand in the Southeast for custom homes and barndominiums, especially with buyers moving into markets like Greenville, Charlotte, and throughout Tennessee.

Currently our projects range anywhere from $350k–$900k depending on size and location. We also generate revenue through architectural design packages, materials sourcing, and construction management.

On average we see anywhere from 3–12 custom home sales per month depending on market conditions.

Right now I’m focused on expanding the business, building strong relationships in the industry, and connecting with others involved in development, private lending, and residential construction.

If anyone here has experience scaling residential construction companies or structuring partnerships for development projects, I’d love to hear your insights and connect.

Thanks in advance and I look forward to learning from the community.
