Private Lender Community
I was talking with another very experienced private lender the other day and he pointed out something that stuck with me — there really isn't a place for us lenders to connect and communicate with each other.
And I don't mean brokers or big institutional money. I mean regular people lending their own funds — whether that's cash from a bank account, a Self-Directed IRA, a HELOC, or whatever else they're working with.
Stuff like:
• What makes a deal worth doing vs. a red flag
• How lenders protect themselves and their capital
• First-position security
• Exit strategies
• Returns, points, and loan terms
• SDIRA lending
• Real lessons from real deals
• Questions newer lenders don't even know to ask yet
It got me thinking — maybe it's time we actually create a community and network of private lenders where we can all connect, share, and learn together.
If you're already a lender or you've been thinking about becoming one and would be interested in joining something like this, I'd love to hear from you.
