I’m Alexis, a CPA by background and a real estate investor based in New Jersey. I spent the first part of my career in corporate finance, where I built a strong foundation in accounting and financial analysis. During that time, I started investing in real estate and acquired my first two investment properties.

After years in corporate, I decided to take the leap and pursue real estate full-time. I joined a wholesale team to sharpen my skills in acquisitions, deal analysis, and the overall investing process.

Now, my focus is growing my personal portfolio through small multifamily acquisitions. I’m looking to connect with other investors in the NJ market who are actively buying, selling, or partnering on deals.

Your background in CPA work, finance, and acquisitions provides a strong foundation for building a portfolio. Keep building relationships, because the best opportunities often come through your network. Since you're already open to connecting with investors, it may also be worth looking beyond New Jersey. Many investors are expanding into Midwest markets, where small multifamily properties can offer lower entry costs and solid cash-flow potential. The combination of strong underwriting and the right local team can make out-of-state investing a great way to scale.
