Imagine lender fails to fund draw
Imagine in a fix n flip,
Lender fails to fund draw
Saying they have internal problems.
What would happen?
If you promised contractors
You'd pay them after lender pays you.
Would they wait for lender to pay you?

Imagine disgruntled contractors
Fuming with justified rage 'cause
They can't meet their obligations.
Can they be patient and wait?
Or beat you up to settle scores.
Will they just destroy what they built?
Leaving your flip a mess?

Imagine the borrower
A square peg in a round hole?
An idiot in the main?
Who believed in a system
That threw them under the bus?
They borrow 'cause they ain't gat lots
Use their little to make ends meet

Imagine the lender
A towering giant with unlimited might
Ruthless at choking defaulting borrowers
Punish late interest with penalties
Choke struggling borrowers with foreclosure
Staining FICO for seven long years
Whatcha finna do if lender defaults funding draws?

Imagine the greed and abuse!
The borrower is slave to lender
Proverbs 22 verse 7 says.
Oh! How good 'tis to be a lender!
That you can't be held accountable
By your borrower, a pawn
In a big game of greed and manipulation?

Imagine the untouchable
Is might right?
Is justice defined by the powerful
In Capitalist economy?
If borrower is slave to lender
What is the contractor
Who works under the borrower?

Imagine the contractors
Who use their skills to build
Endure harsh weather working hard.
Just stupid blue-collar workers
Who deserve nothing more than
Crumbs that fall from the table
Of the rich and mighty?

Imagine the American dream
All riddled by greed and selfishness.
Building generational wealth
While asleep or at the beach
By taking advantage of the weak
And vulnerable of society.
A blessing or curse?
