Conv to multiple pins / condo
I have several multifamily properties in Chicago that I'm considering converting each unit to have individual pins and then following up with a condo conversion. I'm personally reacting to some of the new impending regulations coming to Chicago that make it difficult to be a landlord and thinking about how I can protect against policies that are adverse in nature.
I'm also questioning if a conversion leads to higher sales prices in the end anyway, and makes sense on merit.
Has anyone done this type of conversion before in Chicago and how did it go?
