What is your one liner to stay on track with REI?

Real Estate Investing certainly can have many ups and downs.  In addition to that there is often so many things to remember.  What are the one liners you use to remind yourself, motivate yourself or whatever else you may use them for?

When I am setting my renovation budget I always say; 'Think with your wallet, not your eyes!'

It has taken much self discipline and sacrifice to get to the point where I have access to, what I consider, large sums of cash to invest how I please.  When friends and family scoff at my frugality, I often think of:  'I don't own big hats, but I have a lot of cattle.".
