Can I import data from spreadsheet into my word document mailer?

Question

Here's the situation..

I'm writing a professional letter that I can save as a template with my business letterhead explaining I am investor interested in their house.  I'm wondering if I can somehow import the owners names and property address into the template to easily create numerous mailers at a time.  I am not having the best of luck with the hand written letter approach and would like to go with a more professional approach.

I plan to leave a blank after "Hi xxxxx" for the owners name and then a blank after "I am interested in your property at xxxxx" to insert the imported name and address.  Is this even possible?

Sorry @Claire Trammell I forgot all about this thread!  So I am actually working with Google Sheets and Google Docs.  I want to create a professional letter in Docs and then mail merge the owners names/addresses in from sheets.  And then I want to figure out an easy way to print all of them with a single click.  Hmmm.  The research continues. Any ideas @Kris Hodges

Easiest approach will probably be to create a formula in excel and then have the "xxxx" part concatenated in with the other parts and then write a VBA macro or use a software library to spit the resultant string to separate doc files or separate pages on the same doc file.

Or you may be able to get Excel to print the information pretty enough so that all you would need to do is fold up the printed document or cut along the dotted lines.

That is something that can be done with mail merge. We do that kind of a thing by using an Excel spreadsheet with the names and addresses and mail merge the appropriate information in to the letter and envelopes.

@Kyle Grimm Microsoft Word has a "mailings" tab. You can click "start a mail merge" and use the wizard. It walks you through step by step.
