Starting an REI Association?

Greeting neighbors from Buffalo and Erie County New York.

Does anyone know of an REI association in Western New York? If not, is anyone willing to help me get one started? I am not attempting to sell anyone anything. I am new to REI, just bought my first duplex, and I want to meet more like-minded people to discuss and share ideas.
