Is NEWARK NJ the next Harlem

I'm looking to invest in essex county , newark is so close to ny and there's good and bad all over. Some blocks are war zones the others are liveable

Hi Jamel, I agree as well. Definitely good and bad areas. I do think Newark is in a transition upwards though.  Not sure about the all of the areas, but those close to downtown will reap the benefits of being close to Penn station, the new restaurants on Market Street and by the Prudential Center, and the  Whole Foods, which I think is set to open next year. So I do believe that there are good buy and hold opportunities in Newark and possibly to flip, but I'd recommend linking with someone who knows the area.
