I currently live in Japan and really wanna get started on investing in real estate back in the states. Would it be a good idea to purchase a property while I'm here? How could I do it?

@, and I thought I was far away. I live in California and invest in Jacksonville and Tallahasse Fl. I have bought properties before seeing them by just going off of pics from my Realtor. I actually have in my portfolio properties I've only seen once.  I control my risk by only buying site unseen in the lower markets. This practice is not for a newbie unless you have really trustworthy and knowledgeable boots on the ground.
