Big shots with hotmail email addresses

Do you take people seriously if they use hotmail or gmail and yahoo email addresses? I don't and its an instant turn off for us. If you have a company with a website, use a real email address. You can use webmail if you are on the road without a laptop or Blackberry. Just today I read an ad for some huge dealer in Reo's that is located on Wall St but then gives a hotmail email address. Credibility goes right down the river.

To each their own. I keep disposable e-mail addresses to weed out the ton of garbage that would get into my real e-mail addresses.

When someone gets my real e-mail it is because they have proven themselves and I know they are friends or biz associates.. It is basically the status of being given a direct personal phone line in the old days, and those e-mails get my quick personal attention.

Having a commonly used website e-mail address given to everyone, for use by everyone does not meet my criteria for
status greater then hot-mail, or GMail and deserving of instant' or greater respect.

The thing that counts are the people behind the address, and you get good and bad with both types of e-mail addresses. I don't get a bunch of crap on my real addresses and if the load of crap gets to be to much on free e-mail I can kill it off.
