Anyone aking offers on MSL listed Homes

I am wondering is anyone writing offers on MLS listed homes and is it working? In seattle there are a ton of homes listed as short sales that are just sitting around with no offers... If you have written up a few give us all some insite I would love to give it a shot! Thanks
