How to access and equity list

Hello BP.  Recently I listened to a podcast and the guest had mentioned he has been successfull in using a list of homeowners and how much equity they have in home. I was surprised that a list like that accessible.  Has anyone had success of their own using these types of lists? If so, what advice would you have for a newbie?
