What Crazy Items Did you Inherit on Your Property?

My partner and I just purchased a duplex in south Los Angeles.  We inherited a family of cats that live under the house, two pigeons that live on the side of the house, and a blind dog.  What are some crazy things you have inherited with your properties?

A 60 year old Piano, in great condition (once it was cleaned up), a brand new professional rider's mountain bike, two safes that All Capone could have used, a mirrored very expensive 4 post bed... with intricate detailing and storage built into it, a new heavy duty riding mower,...that's all I can remember right now.

Some of the more bizarre:

• A window for an old Jeep Cherokee was left behind (found behind a door).

• A new, crated shower stall was once left in my parking lot (there was some weird story behind it like the tenant had intended to use for an in-laws remodel).

• Too many artificial x-mas trees to count.

• A machete (under a mattress)

• On a turnover, I once vacuumed under a refrigerator of a condo and just kept sucking up dried up dead small birds the tenant's cat had hunted and left behind. Probably half dozen.

Ashes in an urn.   Someone buried an old washing machine drum in the flower bed in front of the apartment -- redneck planter perhaps?  It took forever to dig that sucker up.
