How do these Hurricanes affect the RE Markets

I'd first like to give my prayers to everyone affected by the recent string of hurricanes on the southern states.

My question is simple. How do other investors, especially those local to the affected areas, plan to help these areas? I know that investors will have a place in the recovery process, I was just wondering what everyone feels that role will be.
