Investors on TV......hummm?

Question

I was surfing the internet Saturday (yes before the college games) and I came across this site http://www.reicasting.com/  I read what they were propossing and after, I thought to myself "I'd probably look good on TV" and "Superstar". I'm always looking for educational oppurtunities, teaching and learning, but I hate the "get rich quick" themes. I submitted my information and I'm hoping to hear back from them. Just thought I would share this with the investing community. I think these folks might have something?  :idea:

After the few exchanges we had yesterday, I was able to reflect on a few of my actions later on. I would like to apologize for the immaturity on my behalf. I failed to realize that this is YOUR site and not mine. I appreciate that you are going to allow my post to stand and completely understand what you are saying. I assure you that a lesson was learned through this experience and will not happen again.

Actually, I haven't blown this out of proportion.  If you expect to do business with people, all you have going for yourself is your reputation.  If people can't trust you, then you have nothing.

I will leave your post, but I urge you to think about how you represent yourself and your company.

Too many people in this business get screwed by liars.  My job is to protect the people of this site.  This is a private business, and is not an "open forum" for anyone to post anything they want on.  If someone is going to try and do business with the people on BiggerPockets, they have to get through me first, like it or not!

Because I did not respond to your email within a few hours, you decided to go ahead and be dishonest to everyone here on the site?

You were more then welcome to post on the forums and be up front with people.  You didn't have to lie.

The problem is that you pretend to be just some random person who just found this opportunity, when in fact, you are involved in the opportunity.

Why should we believe you at all now?

WOW!!!! You are completely blowing this out of proportion. I feel like I have committed a major crime or something. I just wanted to get exposure to the investors across the country for FREE, but apparently I have offended you. If this matter is so personal to you, then remove me from your site. I do work for the casting company and all I wanted was to get investors to visit it, so we can get the right ones on TV. If you don't want to believe me, then don't. You have called me a liar twice now and I really don't understand why you want to continue to belittle me in every response. I think these people get the point. Again I'm sorry if I offended you, but know that my intentions were not to be a "sneaky" rat, I just thought it was easier to post it that way.

Well, I asked you earlier today and got no response? Had you responded in a timely manor I would have not listed that way. When you try to be honest and go about it the right way, you get nothing. When I go about it this way, you administartors are quick to reply. I do however appreciate the fact that you are doing your job, I just wish it was earlier. Thank you for responding.

. . .it amazes me how people expect to gain people's trust when the are so blatently sneaky.  Why not just say that you work for this site and you need people?
