Business name on phone calls

OK, so I'm new to the whole getting the buyers list going buy it is going which is the good news. I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this:

I haven't created a business yet (name/company/anything) and I'm not quite sure what to say when people ask me who I'm with. Should I say I'm an individual real estate professional looking to work with like-minded individuals? Or should I just come up with a name?

The background is that I'm calling for rent ads in the paper and asking the owners of those ads if I can add them to my buyers list. Thank you in advance for any and all information. It's greatly appreciated.

Kim

What would your expected outcomes be of using your personal name or your business name?

Personally, your business name wouldn't impress me that much. Real Estate is a people business. You are in the business to help solve people's problems. I would rather deal with you than a business name. The business name is just a legal formality. Good luck Kim.
