What resources are great for market data, demographics, etc?

Question

Looking for recommendations on websites, resources, anything helpful on finding real estate and economic related data. I know the MLS, etc but curious if anyone has found anything else that's helped them out.

I want to start researching and diving deeper in real estate data (regional and local real estate market data, inventory, new construction, areas with a lot of activity), and economic and demographic related data (job data, where people are moving to, where jobs are growing, where companies are moving to and growing in).

Any advice/tips and success you've had would be greatly appreciated!

This might help to start:

1) Interactive Demographics Map from the Census: Interactive Map (this map is a little finicky, but once you get used to it, you'll get valuable visual info)

2) Federal Reserve Economic Data: FRED (provides charts dating back 10, 20, 30, 40 years so you can see how things have been trending)

3) Census Quick Facts: QuickFacts (provides charts at the State, County, City level regarding various data)

4) Bureau of Labor Statistics: Labor Stats

5) FEMA's National Flood Zone FEMA. You're probably not going to need this map being that you're in AZ, but who knows, you might be looking elsewhere down the road :)
